What Would Jesus Eat?

According to Anthony Bourdain's friend, Chef David Arnold:

"There are not actual recipes in the Bible itself" but he says, "the seven species, as listed in the book of Deuteronomy, are the starting point. Wheat, barley, dates, figs, pomegranate, olive oil, and wine."

He said that because Jesus was poor, he would not eat lamb...most likely he would eat pigeon. Pigeon cooked in a tandoor-type fireplace. Interesting...right?

Pretty much his diet looked a lot like the Mediterranean diet (which is an amazing diet to follow).

Below are two different charts that describe the diet - I found both useful. Please note how important it is to have daily activity when on the diet - it's an essential part of the diet and why Monaco (borders the Mediterranean Sea) has the highest life expectancy, people live on average to about 90 years old.  Thank you, Jesus, for giving up your life in your mid-30s, with his diet He could have well-outlived most Americans.
