All the things that would make this day a better day:
Reliving Saturday afternoon – all day at the park lying on Mike’s lap, talking about life.
Waking up without the alarm, to bright sunny weather, having that “happy feeling” in my soul
Going to rehab houses for the low-income all morning (favorite high school service project) – painting, hammer, etc.
Reading magazines with Sour Patches in bed (with our white spring comforter), in my shorts and t-shirt, no socks, hair up in a messy bun with Mike beside me
BBQ in Ken/Lynne’s backyard…juicy cheeseburgers with the works and a tall glass of Lemonade
Dancing all night with Mike in sweats
A whipped cream/jell-o pudding “ice cream” cone (all the goodness without the guilt)
Hosting a fabulous dessert, dinner, “be a kid” party, surrounded by our friends
Not feeling achy
If the spots in front of my eyes would disappear
Sitting on the couch and laughing all night at “For the Love of Ray J”
Debating and talking all night, over wine, after watching D.L. Hughley on CNN
Long Island: hanging out at the beach, the vineyard, and shopping and eating (P.F. Changs/Benihana/Cheesecake Factory)
Warm, sunny weather
Having Spring Break – Florida, California…heck NYC
Holiday dinners at “Lynnay”s with the entire family, talking about the Atlanta Housewives
Talking to Norma Jean over Margaritas and a huge photo album
Sitting outside of The Victor talking to Mama Steel about men, life and fashion
Talking over tea/coffee/sweet delicacies with one of my closest friends
Baking a deliciously big cake (much like me and Norma’s cake castle) – wedding style and eating it with soy milk
Playing UNO with my advisory girls
