Love shouldn't hurt...that bad!
With Valentine's Day still wafting in the air - I can't help, but think about love. Love is beautiful. It's great. It's amazing, etc. It also hurts sometimes - BUT it never punches you in the face.
Yes, awkward transition...but it needs to be said. I understand "forgiving" an abusive partner, celebrity, friend, etc. BUT continuing in the relationship or even wishing it upon yourself is ludicrous.
With the trends of domestic abuse increasing (tremendously), esp. in young women - young women now count for the most at risk group for domestic abuse - it's no wonder the following article made my stomach hurt.
I understand finding a celebrity amazingly attractive (Idris Elba...uh..uh...uh), but the following tweets are alarming. It's time for real conversations around domestic abuse...
