I have to get it off my chest.

One day I will be a black mother and will [hopefully] have black sons. This being said, it pains me to know that although I will raise them to be law-abiding, studious, respectful, and all around model citizens - my sons will still look "suspicious." Making them targets. Trayvon looks like my brother, my husband, and my [future] sons. 

It hurts my heart to think about Trayvon's mother and father.
