Y'all may already be hip to this, but there is a channel called "Planet Green." So, on it they have a bunch of historians talk about Biblical Myths, Who Framed Jesus, and answer the question, Who was Jesus




These series are completely history-based, so they retrace history based on historical evidence (artifacts found in Jerusalem, Nazareth, etc), writings of writers, and the study of the bible - "taking all theology out of it and searching for historical evidence"

Long story short, it's amazing. I love seeing what Jesus was really like, outside of who a lot of Christians try to make him. For instance, so many Christian men see Christ as meek, soft, passive and yes, his heart was for the poor and he spoke a passivise message, but he was a charismatic man's man that is smart and he never backs down from a verbal altercation  and he was a "liberal" - hence his major beef with the conservative Pharisees. He fought for the rights of the "little" man... literally fought - hence his scene in the temple.

Anyways, for those that love history - this series is fantastic.
