Fatigue.

Today fatigue hit me so hard that I took this test. These are my results. I would definitely recommend this test for any one that feels a little blah. I've been feeling slightly off for almost five days. All this to say, here are my results:

Thought I'd share - just for some exhaustion advice :) I will definitely be making some lifestyle changes - I eat sugar daily, have a coffee/day, 2 to 3 black teas/day, and workout about three to four times a week. I try to get eight hours of sleep - but have off and on sleep patterns.

Your profile results:

Your total adrenal burden is 52.
You are experiencing the symptoms of severe adrenal dysfunction. At this time your symptoms may feel extreme and overwhelming but there is good news. Specific changes in diet, increased nutritional support, regular, gentle exercise, and improved emotional wellness can rebalance your adrenal gland function, and reduce your symptoms. You may need to start slowly, and it may take time, but you can feel better.

You do not describe yourself as having any of the classic signs or life situations that indicate you have any adrenal imbalance. You may want to re-consider your total adrenal burden and review our recommendations below for keeping your adrenals in balance.

Our natural approach to restoring adrenal balance

Follow a balanced eating plan: The foods you eat have a profound impact on your adrenal glands. In order to maintain healthy adrenals, and keep you free from fatigue, we suggest the following eating guidelines:
  • Avoid gluten — a protein that many women with adrenal imbalance may be sensitive to.
  • Eat adequate protein at every meal — important for energy and stamina.
  • Eat within an hour of waking — helps restore healthy blood sugar levels.
  • Eat healthy fats.
  • Eliminate all "white" food – refined sugar, flour, and grains, at least temporarily.
Optimize nutrient intake: Today even the healthiest diet fails to supply the complete range of the dozens of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients your body needs for optimal adrenal balance. Take a full-spectrum, medical-grade multivitamin and mineral supplement that is tailored to support your adrenal glands every day. This helps create a strong nutritional foundation from which your adrenals can begin healing.
Use phytotherapy and nutritional supplements to support your adrenals: Adaptogenic herbs work with your body to ensure adequate production and utilization of crucially important adrenal hormones. Many nutrients, including phosphatidylserine, help the body better manage the adverse impact of fluctuations in adrenal hormones. Daily use of a multi-spectrum adrenal support formula can help alleviate your symptoms. For best results, it is important to follow a supplementation plan that supports your specific adrenal type.
Exercise gently and regularly to create a healthy body: Every woman needs a regular exercise program to keep her body healthy. However, when your adrenals are fatigued you must be careful to not overdue the exercise. Finding a gentle exercise regimen that you enjoy and are able to stick to can facilitate your adrenal healing and rebalancing.
Keep a positive outlook: Stress, especially if it is ongoing, wreaks havoc on your adrenal health. Why? When you worry a lot, your adrenal glands continue to produce a hormone called cortisol. Excess cortisol production takes a deep toll on your body, by interfering with the natural cycles of maintenance, growth, and repair that are vital for optimal health. Importantly, overburdened adrenals are also unable to produce other hormones, like DHEA, in sufficient amounts, and this generates additional symptoms. Taking steps to minimize stress and worry, and learning how to stay as positive as possible are key factors in restoring adrenal health. Turning your attention to improving your emotional wellness helps you feel happier and more stable, and is very beneficial to adrenal health.
Find and engage in a de-stress practice that fits you and how you live: Yoga, meditation, conscious or guided relaxation, gratitude journaling, and being outdoors can all help you better manage the stress of life. You cannot avoid life's challenges but you can find ways to help you stay calmer and more at peace with yourself.
Be good to yourself!
