Now, head scarfs are nothing new to sistahs, but this year turbans are mainstream fashion (again)! This summer I was rocking the head scarf most similar to the woman in the picture on the far left. I, too, wore mine with my sunglasses but went with a bright red lipstick. Mike loved the look because it reminded him of a 1950s BRONX housewife :) I used my scarf as a way to hide my twists (on curly days), but with my short hair I look forward to exploring turban options.
