11-28 Good Housekeeping Thankful List
Realizing that 1,001 is a lot at this rate it will most likely take me over a year - but I'm not stoppin'.
But gonna "AMEN" a few from Good Housekeeping.
My mom got me a subscription of Good Housekeeping and Parents when I got pregnant. Thank God for those two magazines :) Nothing like curling up on the couch during a rain storm to count your many many blessings and be INCREDIBLY inspired.

Here are some that I COMPLETELY agree with:

Here are some that I COMPLETELY agree with:
- Generation by generation, men are learning how to talk about their feelings. They're also learning how to co-parent and how to separate the darks from the whites
- The way any 11-year-old kid can double as an IT consultant.
- 8. The best thing since sliced bread: a sweet and savory Thanksgiving-leftovers sandwich.
- 9. Skype and FaceTime, for live video chats that enable you to feel close to far-flung loved ones (without the "ouch" of international phone rates).
- 11. The rise of Thanksgiving Day movie marathons (move over, football!).
- 14. Films like Girl Rising and Half the Sky, which show that educating girls is a win-win.
- 15. The spiritual renewal offered by nature is always free — and available 24/7.
- 16. "Comfort shoes" have never been cuter! Witness: Børn, Merrell, Kork-Ease, Clarks, Aerosoles, and Sofft.
- 18. Friends who feel like sisters (and actual sisters, of course).
- 19. Same-day and two-day shipping, along with the opportunity to shop lying down.
- 20. Book clubs: cheaper than therapy — and sometimes there's wine!
- 21. Canning, farming, and thrift are cool again.
- 22. Welcoming mochas back into your life, thanks to Starbucks' superrich sugar-free chocolate sauce.
- 24. Thirty-year-old Anne Kubitsky's "Look for the Good Project," which she started when she distributed 500 pre-addressed postcards inviting strangers to share what made them feel gratitude. Two years later, she's received "6,000 Glimmers of Gladness" in return. See them in her new book, What Makes You Grateful? Voices from Around the World, and continue the conversation at lookforthegoodproject.org and on Facebook.
- 25. Female executives who tell other women to pursue their career dreams — and then help them do so.
- 26. Little kids in footed jammies.
- 30. The roof over your head and the food in your pantry. It's easy to take basic necessities for granted or compare yourself with those who have more, but if you're not cold and hungry, you are blessed.
