Struggling Artist

Now y'all know I only love struggling artists and intellectuals (check my old blogposts), but I am super excited about Drake's new album. Mike and I listened to a few of the songs on his album and he still has that hunger and humility that a struggling artist has. So yeah, I can dig it. 

From what I gathered, he thought through every detail of his album - making music fans feel like they are listening to an artist that studies his craft and loves hip hop. The lyrics are composed and written in a way that made it feel completely natural stopping it, rewinding it, and discussing it over Starbucks coffee (decaf, two shots of pumpkin and some nondairy creamer). Starving artist status.
