Chocolate Raspberry Sorbet

Chocolate + Raspberry = DELICIOUS!


I am a major fan of recipizaar.com, I love making, tasting and then reviewing other people's food. One day, I hope to post. But until then - here is an amazing quick and easy dessert that is perfect for entertaining or enjoying in front of your favorite book. It's lactose-free for all of my fellow lactose intolerant friends ; ) Hope you enjoy!



Ingredients:
2 cups frozen raspberries, thawed
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons honey
2 cups water
1/4 cup dutch process cocoa
1 ounce semisweet chocolate, chopped


Directions:
1Push raspberries through fine metal sieve; set aside.
2In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, honey, and 2 cups water.
3Over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
4Add cocoa; cook stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
5Remove from heat, whisk in chocolate and then the raspberry puree.
6Chill in freezer 30 minutes.
7Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturers directions.
